In this study; the problems experienced by the physically disabled individuals, who are wheelchair users, regarding the interior equipment elements in their houses have been identified, and solutions have been proposed by taking into account the necessary standards and laws regarding these problems. For this purpose, a detailed questionnaire was developed to determine the problems faced by wheelchair users in residential interiors and to identify their wishes and needs, and was applied to 92 randomly selected participants. As a result, a significant portion of wheelchair users cannot access entrance cabinets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, dining tables, coffee tables, refrigerators, dressing tables and mirrors, wardrobes, door handles and locks, sockets and electrical switches in their residences, individuals' shower cabin, It was determined that they could not provide access to the toilet, bathtub, washbasin, sitting furniture and bed, they experienced transition problems due to the elevation difference and door threshold height between the rooms, and they could not move comfortably and easily due to floor surface imperfections.
