ABSTRACT


Companies prefer to invest only when they come across a business that will generate a good profit. Today, many private companies and organizations have started to direct their investments in the field of art and show their names in many fields from exhibition sponsorships to artistic competitions. Companies try to privatize art by making such investments. In fact, they are trying to both advertise and clear their name by using art for their own benefit. In this direction, it is observed that especially large companies direct the arts with their investments in our country. Since it is thought that these investments will not be wasted by the companies, they continue today despite all the economic negativities. Because the need to direct the society always maintains its importance. It is not a coincidence that companies have the opportunity to have the works of various artists directly and with a very affordable budget, through the exhibitions, competitions and museums they have established. In addition, it is a natural result of the art policy of the companies that the artist can increase the value of his works in the market with the competitions held or the collections purchased, which adds value to the collections already held by the companies. Thus, it is seen that companies direct the art according to their own purposes in the field of art, in which they invest, and add value to their investments through the collections they acquire in the art market.
