Bu çalışmada, mücevherat sektöründe kullanılan kimyasallar ve bu kimyasalların insan sağlığına olan etkileri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu çalışma, ülkemizin mücevher sektöründe kullanılan kimyasalların insan sağlığına olan zararlarını ve alınması gereken önlemlerini kapsayan bir çalışmadır. Türkiye ve diğer ülkelerdeki mücevherat sektöründeki ihracat rakamları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu çalışmayla ulaşılmak istenen esas hedef mücevherat sektöründe bulunan atölye çalışanlarının kimyasalların zararları hakkında bilinçlenmeleri sağlamaktır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada mücevherat sektöründe kullanılan kimyasalların MSDS (Malzeme Güvenlik Bilgi Formu)’leriyle kişilerin kimyasallara maruziyetleri durumunda yapılması gereken işlemler iş sağlığı ve güvenliği çerçevesinde literatür destekli olarak incelenmiştir. Risk analizi tanımlanmış ve mücevherat sektöründe risk analizi yapılmıştır. Risk analizi yöntemleri belirtilmiş ve bu yöntemler içerisinden bir tanesi seçilerek risk analizi yapılmıştır. Sektörde kullanılan asitler, bazlar ve tuzların genel özellikleri ve bu kimyasalların çalışanların sağlıkları üzerinde oluşturabileceği sorunlar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Mücevherat sektöründe çeşitli kimyasalların kullanılması sebebiyle sektördeki firmalar çok tehlikeli firmaların sınıfına girmektedir. Önlemlerin alınması sırasında çalışanlardan bilgi alınmasıyla önlemlerin daha çözüme yönelik gerçekleşmesi sağlanabilmektedir. Çalışanların hem kendi hem de devletleri için sağlıkları hakkında bilinçlenmelerini sağlamak hedeflenmektedir.

In this study, the information has been given about the chemicals used in the jewellery sector. It has been a study which covers the damages of health and the precautions to be taken in the jewellery sector in our country. Information is given about export value on the jewellery sector between Turkey and other countries. It was targeted that people who work in the workshop and has been in the jewellery sector became conscious about the harms of chemicals. Also, has been examined of with literature support in order to be able to make correction about occupational health and safety by the MSDS of the chemicals used in the jewellery sector and processes that are required to be done in case of exposure are examined. Risk analysis is defined and risk analysis and risk analysis method are made on the jewellery sector. One risk analysis method is choose and applied out of between risk analysis methods. Base information is given acids, bases, and salts on the jewellery sector. Health problems are determined on the jewellery sector’s worker. Various chemicals are used in the jewellery sector so that sector is most dangerous. Experts should take information from workers about sector’s workshop problems. In this way, prevention can be taken easier. It will provide the consciousness of the health of employees to both themselves and their states.
