Büyük bir hızla gelişen teknoloji sayesinde artık dijitalleşmiş bir dünya içerisinde yaşamaktayız. 21. Yüzyılın koşullarında birçok alanda dijitalleşmenin etkileri görülmektedir ve bu durum artık kaçınılmaz olmaktadır. Teknolojik gelişmelerin etkilediği alanlardan biri de hiç şüphesiz ki plastik sanatlardır. Günümüzde sanat üretiminin sadece geleneksel yöntemler ile yapılması artık yeterli olmamaktadır. Bilgisayar teknolojisinin ilerlemesi ile ortaya çıkan gereçler ve yazılımlar sanat üretiminde yeni alanları da beraberinde getirmektedir ve disiplinlerin birleşmesi söz konusudur. Örneğin; resim sadece kâğıt veya tuval üzerine yapılmıyor, heykel sadece kil ile alçı ile yapılmıyor. Bilgisayarın sanat üretimine ortak olması ile birlikte bu ortam sadece grafik tasarımların yapıldığı bir ortam olmaktan çıkıyor. Dijital sanat kavramı bu gelişmeler ile ortaya çıkmış bir alan durumundadır. Bu makalede, teknolojik gelişmelerin ışığında dijital sanatın resim sanatına olan etkisinin yanı sıra getirmiş olduğu avantajlar ve dezavantajlar ile birlikte sanat eğitimi alanında ki yeri de irdelenecektir. Çalışmanın amacı, resim sanatında aslında yeni olmayan ama ülkemizde çok bilinmeyen dijital yönelimleri tanıtmak ve alana ışık tutmaktır. Ülkemizde konu hakkında araştırmalar mevcuttur fakat bu araştırmaların nicelik bakımından artması, içerik bakımından ise daha da gelişmesi ve alana yön vermesi, literatürün genişlemesi önem arz etmektedir. Araştırmada nitel yöntem kullanışmış olup doküman analizi ile veri toplama yoluna gidilmiştir. Ayrıca yer verdiğimiz görseller ile konu desteklenmiştir.

We are now living in a digitized world thanks to a rapidly developing technology. In the conditions of the 21st century, the effects of many inland digitalizers are seen and this is no longer inevitable. One of the areas that technological developments are influencing is undoubtedly plastic arts. Nowadays, it is not enough to produce art only by traditional methods. The tools and software that emerged with the advancement of computer technology bring new fields in art production and the unification of the disciplines. For example; the picture is not only made on paper or canvas, the sculpture is not made of only clay and plaster. With the computer becoming a partner in art production, this environment comes from being an environment where only graphic designs are made. The concept of digital art is an area that has emerged with these developments. In this article, in addition to the effect of digital art on the art of painting in the light of technological developments the advantages and disadvantages of art education and its place in the field of art education will be examined. The aim of the work is to promote and to shed light on the digital trends that are not really new in the art of painting but are very unknown in our country. There are researches on the subject in our country, but it is important to increase the amount of these studies in terms of quantity, to develop more in terms of content and to direct the field and to expand the literature. The qualitative method has been used in the research and data collection has been done by document analysis. We also supported the issue with the visuals we have included.
