Yaratıcılık, insanlık tarihi boyunca bireysel ve toplumsal gelişimin en temel dinamiklerinden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. Sanatta yaratıcılık ise kültürel mirasın korunması ve yenilikçi ifadelerin geliştirilmesinde hayati bir sorumluluk taşımaktadır. Bu makale, sanatsal üretim sürecinin doğal ve dinamik bir bileşeni olan yaratıcı blokaj olgusuna ve bu sürecin sanatsal gelişim üzerindeki etkilerine odaklanmaktadır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, yaratıcılık kavramını tarihsel perspektiften incelemek, sanatsal yaratıcılığın evrimini çözümlemek ve sanatçıların üretim süreçlerinde karşılaştıkları tıkanıklıkların nedenlerini bilimsel bir çerçevede tartışmaktır. Makalenin kapsamı, Paleolitik dönemdeki ilk sanatsal izlerden başlayarak günümüzün yapay zekâ destekli dijital sanat pratiklerine kadar uzanan geniş bir süreci içermektedir. Yöntem olarak nitel araştırma tekniklerinden literatür taraması benimsenmiş olup yaratıcı süreçler çeşitli kuramsal modeller ve bilişsel aşamalar üzerinden irdelenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda yaratıcı blokajın yalnızca bireysel bir verimlilik sorunu olmadığı, aksine bilişsel, duygusal ve çevresel faktörlerin karmaşık etkileşimiyle şekillenen çok boyutlu bir durum olduğu saptanmıştır. Tarihsel süreçteki çeşitli sanatçı deneyimleri, bu tür durağanlık dönemlerinin disiplinli çalışma, disiplinler arası geçiş ve perspektif değişikliği gibi yöntemlerle aşılabildiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Makalenin sunduğu alternatif yaklaşım, yaratıcı blokajların sanatsal üretimi durduran negatif bir engel olmaktan ziyade, doğru stratejilerle yönetildiğinde sanatçının kendi üretimiyle yeniden bağ kurmasını sağlayan ve daha derin keşiflere kapı aralayan dönüştürücü bir ihtiyaç olduğunu savunmasıdır. Bu çalışma, yaratıcı tıkanıklıkları bir başarısızlık değil, sanatsal kimliğin gelişimi için zorunlu bir evrimsel durak olarak nitelendirerek literatüre yeni bir perspektif kazandırmaktadır.

Creativity is recognized as one of the most fundamental dynamics of individual and societal development throughout human history. In the field of art, creativity carries a vital responsibility in preserving cultural heritage and developing innovative expressions. This article focuses on the phenomenon of creative block as a natural and dynamic component of the artistic production process and its effects on artistic growth. The primary objective of the study is to examine the concept of creativity from a historical perspective, analyze the evolution of artistic creativity, and discuss the causes of blockages encountered by artists within a scientific framework. The scope of the article encompasses an extensive period starting from the earliest artistic traces in the Paleolithic era to contemporary artificial intelligence-supported digital art practices. A literature review, as one of the qualitative research techniques, was adopted as the methodology, and creative processes were examined through various theoretical models and cognitive stages. As a result of the analyses, it was determined that creative block is not merely an individual productivity issue, but rather a multi dimensional state shaped by the complex interaction of cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors. Various historical artistic experiences reveal that such periods of stagnation can be overcome through methods such as disciplined work, interdisciplinary transitions, and changes in perspective. The alternative approach presented by the article is the argument that creative blocks are not negative obstacles halting artistic production, but rather a transformative necessity that, when managed with the right strategies, allows the artist to reconnect with their production and paves the way for deeper discoveries. This study contributes a new perspective to the literature by characterizing creative tagnations not as failures, but as mandatory evolutionary pauses for the development of artistic identity.
